Jacqueline Maple, Foothill Surgical's Director of Nursing, has her own bunion surgery...

Now I understand what our patients mean by " I shouldn't have waited so long..."

Jacqueline Maple, R.N. has been working at Foothill Surgical Institute as the Director of Nursing since it opened 2 1/2 years ago and has witnessed over 800 patients having surgery performed there by Dr. Richard Moy.

But this time it was different - she was the patient.

"I guess I was a bit skeptical" says Maple, "But it just got to the point where I couldn't take the pain any longer. And it's just like almost all of our patients say after surgery - there was NO PAIN. I couldn't believe it."

Maple underwent a bunion surgery on July 18 perfomed by Dr. Richard Moy, DPM. at his surgery center, Foothill Surgical Institute, located in Foothill Ranch, California. The results - as documented in 97% of all his other cases - were that Maple was virtually pain free.

"I didn't even fill the pain medication prescription that he ordered. There simply was no pain after the surgery or even now a week out. I can't wait to finally once again wear my beautiful strap shoes..."

Maple is scheduled for bunion surgery on her other foot in late August of this year.
